As a new business moving in to the area, I am puzzled as to why there as still two boarded up shops on Market Street. Does anyone know the latest news about these shops ? or who to contact about them ?

There is no other viable retail premises available in Hebden (probably for many years . . . ) apart from Croft Mill which is too large, too expensive, and too much of a gamble for anyone I think in the current climate.

I know a lot has been said about these two shops, and many people are probably interested in them, so somebody should know something...
