HAPPY VALLEY CAMPING

West Yorkshire wild camping on the outskirts of Hebden Bridge! At this small site on the outskirts of Hebden Bridge (five minutes' drive or a 20-minute walk), you can let the kids run around free on the grassy field as you relax and take in the spectacular landscape of the Calder Valley.

There's a portable toilet on site, but not much else in the way of amenities: there is no running water, for example (nor any drinkable water), so be prepared and come fully stocked up. What you will find, though, is a warm welcome and plenty of peace and quiet to recharge your batteries.

Many walks can be made from the cottage; the Pennine and Calderdale Ways traverse the hills behind the property and the Rochdale/Leeds canal, with maintained tow-paths, runs through the valley beneath. Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Hawarth and the Bronte country, the Piece Hall and the Eureka museum are all within a radius of 10 miles.

HEIGHT GATE
