There's a notice at the station ticket office informing travellers of changes to parking arrangements at Hebden Bridge railway station.

As I understand it, people parking at the station from April 1st (ho ho!) will be required to get a ticket to say they are rail users.

At the moment there is no mention of charges but I suspect they might be on the way. You could argue this is fair enough as the car park does get full up with non-rail users, and is provided for the use of rail-travellers. There is already notices to that effect around the carpark.

But, apart from the easily overlooked notice, I have seen no advance warning of this and there's nothing on the station's website.
