Hanging Basket scheme for local businesses

Thursday, 15 April 2021

Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd are set to be transformed with colour as the 2021 Hebden Royd Hanging Basket Scheme launches once again.

Every year Hebden Royd Town Council (HRTC) invites local businesses in Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd to take part in the hanging basket scheme, helping to ensure that our towns are an attractive place for both visitors and residents alike.

Emma Green, HRTC Project Manager & Deputy Clerk said, "The baskets will be planted with a vibrant mix of seasonal flowers to provide the maximum impact throughout the summer months, while providing nectar for bees and other pollinating insects."

Emma continued, "This year the cost of each basket is £25, a reduction on the standard rate of £40.00 to help support economic recovery post-COVID-19. We hope as many businesses as possible are able to take up the offer of hanging baskets to make Hebden Royd bloom in 2021!"

The cost of the basket includes a beautiful 18-inch basket filled with plants, bracket/ safety audit, installation in early June, all watering and feeding, and removal in mid-October (weather dependent).

Orders must be placed by Friday 30 April.
