How can artists' livelihoods improve post-COVID?
Calderdale artists online meeting organised
by Artists' Union England
The average income of a visual artist solely from their art practice is £10,000 per annum. How can artists' livelihoods improve post-COVID?
Artists' Union England's Good Practice Charter sets out policies on Rewarding Artists, Health & Safety, Diversity & Equality, Work with Trade Unions, Social Responsibility and Mental Wellbeing in the Workplace.
One year on from the launch of the Good Practice Charter (GPC) join AUE members to find out more about the Charter and how artists can apply it to their working conditions.
Members of the GPC working group will explain how arts & cultural organisations sign up to and work towards the charter. The event will be an opportunity for attendees to raise issues and find out more about AUE, the trade union representing artists.
Tuesday September 21st, 7pm Zoom
