Open Studios and Christmas Markets

30 November - 1st December

As well as the Christmas markets over the weekend of 30 November - 1st December, there will be art and craft fairs at the Town Hall, Methodist Church, The Making Mill, the Open House Exhibition at The Trades Club and lots of artists opening their studios and workshops throughout Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and Mytholmroyd.

Park and Ride

In addition to normal bus and train services, visitors are being encouraged to take advantage of a special park-and-ride service from Mytholmroyd Train Station.

  • Location: Park at Mytholmroyd Station car park (Google Maps). The shuttle bus drops off at Hebden Bridge Station (Google Maps), just a 5-minute walk from the town centre.
  • Running Times: Buses run every 10–20 minutes from 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Cost: No tickets are required. A £1 donation per passenger is suggested, supporting local charities.

Organisers of the weekend are encouraging visitors to walk into town, take the bus, or come by train where possible. A special website has more info.

There are 120 artists taking part this year!

It's an opportunity to shop truly independently, to discover gifts that will last a lifetime and a rare chance to find unique pieces of art and craft that just aren't available on the high street.

You can pick up a map from Kate Rhodes Gallery, Heart Gallery, Hope Gallery, Spirals, from lots of cafes, bars and shops or any of the participating artists.
