Calder Food Support say thanks!

Calder Food Support want to say thanks to everyone who supported their summer Fundraising Drive.

This local group aims to help provide food for local people in times of difficulty to tide them over until their circumstances change.
They raise funds to buy food to distribute on a weekly basis from their depots in Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd and Luddendenfoot.

A grand total of £1800 was raised during the summer from the following:

Table Top Sales (Hebden Royd Methodist Church, MCC, HB Market, St Michael's), Trades Club raffle, Morrison's event, Happy Hounds raffle and tombola, GoFundMe Holiday bag appeal

  • Volunteers who organised and manned events and raffles.
  • The public who donated and bought items and raffle tickets.
  • Organisations who gave CFS free or subsidized spaces to run events.
  • GrubHub for inviting us to share the Trades Club event.
  • Businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes:
    Daisy Bank, White Lion Inn, Nelson's, Coin, Marco's, Beauty by Grace, Morrison's, Burlesque Halloween, Something Sweet, Willow Garden, Oregano, Hebden Bridge Hostel, Ted's Ice Cream, Little Legs, Stubbing Wharf, HB Post Office, Iglu Sauna, Fleur de Lys, HB Picture House, Tall Poppies, Spirals, The Blue Teapot, Equinox and HB Cruises.
