Christmas money raising activities
Carol Singing at Hebden Bridge Station

Friends of Hebden Bridge Station raised £112.50 for the Railway Children's Charity on Saturday morning (13th December). Musicians, Diana on recorder and Richard on bassoon and a group of enthusiastic singers lead by Sam from Calder Valley Voices gave a very welcome Christmassy feel to people coming and going at Hebden Bridge Station.
Big Sing Update
The Christian Aid Big Sing was held at St Michael's Mytholmroyd on the evening of Thursday 11th December, raising £488 for the Christmas appeal. This will go to support the work of local agencies in the Democratric Republic of Congo targetting the plight of women fleeing conflict. The organisers would like to thank David Baker for playing the organ and all those who supported the event and gave so generously.
Defibrillator
Soup Dragon and Hebden Royd Methodist Chirch are raising funds to provide a lifesaving public access defibrillator outside their Market Street premises. This initiative has been supported by donations from local businesses and public donations are welcome which can be handed in to Soup Dragon or at the church. The project will cost £1600 and we have £600 left to raise! To donate, please use the following details for a bank transfer:
