Grant of £2,000 gives four vulnerable Yorkshire families a memorable week away
The Principle Trust Children's Charity has received a £2,000 donation from The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, helping four local families with a much-needed respite break.

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge is an active humanitarian club based around Hebden Bridge in the upper Calder Valley of West Yorkshire. Founded in 1951, the club has been serving the local community for more than 70 years. It supports causes through funds raised at numerous events held throughout the year.
With both the Rotary Club and The Principle Trust sharing strong Yorkshire roots, with a joint commitment to supporting families across the region, this grant will help to ensure funding directly benefits children and families within the area. Each family will also receive a complimentary food hamper to enjoy during their stay.
David Speak, President from the Rotary Club said: "We're delighted to share that the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge has approved a £2,000 grant for The Principle Trust Children's Charity to provide funding for four families to enjoy a week-long respite break."
The Principle Trust strives to make a positive and meaningful difference to children who are facing adverse childhood experiences. The charity's respite breaks allow families to rest, reconnect, and make precious memories together.
The Yorkshire-based charity has helped almost 6,000 children experience the chance to feel safe, relax, and play. The charity operates a 100% donations policy, meaning every penny donated directly supports children most in need.
Linda Yates, from The Principle Trust, said: "On behalf of the children that the Rotary Club's generous donation will help, thank you for helping us to create memories that will last a lifetime. It means so much to us to be able to provide joyful experiences and special moments that these children will cherish forever."
