on the POD Board
Calder Valley Shared Transport is looking
for a director/ administrator
- Are you interested in volunteering with a valuable community organisation?
- Do you live in or near the Upper Calder Valley?
- Are you passionate about the need to reduce cars on the road, their emissions and the congestion they cause?
- Do you have a few hours a week to help with POD's admin and secretarial needs?
- Are you keen to boost your CV with experience as a director on the board of a Community Benefit Society (CBS)?
POD is a cooperative car-sharing organisation with five hybrid cars. A board of five voluntary directors run the scheme with a part-time manager.
The role of Board secretary involves all aspects of compliance and organisation, making sure that the Board functions effectively. This is an important role and we're now looking for a skilled person, ideally a POD shareholder, who could carry out (or at least support) this role.
