The Hebden Bridge Little Theatre is a small, dynamic and welcoming theatre group, producing consistently high quality drama. Each year they present a programme of five plays, which seeks to appeal to all tastes.



The Long Road is just around the corner. The next Little Theatre play (April 8-13) is by Shelagh Stephenson and explores the emotions of a family that has lost a member via a stabbing. Directed by Rachel Doyle-Richards. Read more 14 March 2024


Hay Fever From Monday, 26 February Hebden Bridge Little Theatre starts its Centenary year with Noel Coward's Hay Fever – written 100 years ago in 1924! Directed by Hannah Stow and starring Judith Bliss. Read more.


Hebden Bridge Little Theatre Celebrates Centenary During 2024 Hebden Bridge Little Theatre is celebrating 100 years! Not even the Second World War could prevent the curtain being raised, with well over 70,000 seats being sold during the six-year conflict. Read more 17 Jan

The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, is being performed at Hebden Bridge Little Theatre from 2-7 October. The director uses physical theatre in the style of Frantic Assembly, involving a lot of dance-like movement.  More info

Wife After Death The Little Theatre's April production (25-30) is the hilarious comedy, Wife After Death by Eric Chapell. Comedian and national treasure Dave Thursby has died, and on the day of his funeral, friends and colleagues gather beside his coffin to pay their last respects. Read more 13 April 2022
